You get up in the morning, late for school again.

Rushing through breakfast and with no time left to do anything with your hair, you pull it back in a loose ponytail and stick a colorful plastic headband on top for the finishing touch.

You may not know it but the humble headband you wear to school has been a fashion icon since the time of the Greek and Roman empires! The headband has undergone a lot of changes down through the centuries but has never gone out of style, as you can see from these pictures~~
